After McGill I worked at Sunshine Village, a ski resort near Banff Alberta for 3 winters, spent some time in Australia then started work at General Electric Canada, Peterborough ON in Nov 1974. I worked in design jobs in both Nuclear Fuel Handling and in Large Motors Technology. I am now a Senior Mechanical Engineer. My job at GE has taken me around the world and provided plenty of challenges. I will be here for perhaps one or two more years before I find out if there is life after GE. I am married to Anne who has a pottery business http://www.annespottery.ca/index.html and have two kids - Bob aged 24 and Mary Anne aged 22. Bob has a degree in computer science and is presently touring Australia. Mary Anne has a degree in Landscape Architecture and is employed here in Peterborough.
